I was at one of my insulin pump classes today and a mother there said that Pennsylvania considers type one diabetics to be disabled and provides them with some sort of supplemental insurance coverage that eliminates their copays. I’ve looked all over online and haven’t found a thing about this. She says she has it for her son. I’m wondering if there are age/income limits? Does anyone live in Pennsylvania and/or know something about this? Please?
