Hi everyone! ![]()
I originally built this app for my daughter, Pola — and I’m still actively developing it. It’s called Policare, it’s free, and it’s available on Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.MajesticTwelve.Policare
It’s a glucose monitoring app — similar to Dexcom Follow / Nightscout, but in a simpler, more “home-friendly” format. You can run it on a phone or tablet and use it like a digital frame showing glucose data 24/7 (for example, at a caregiver’s home). The app uses Dexcom Share and supports CGM G6, G7, and One+.
Important: glucose levels can also be visible on the lock screen — on phones with AOD (Always-On Display), e.g. Samsung Galaxy A32.
Key features:
-
night mode / screen dimming (including automatic dimming)
-
customizable alarm ranges
-
“no readings” alert
-
multiple alarm types (sound / vibration)
-
animated alarm ringtone
-
color-coded glucose text depending on the level
-
lock screen glucose view + AOD support
-
visual themes (e.g., “snow outside the window”

) -
different data layouts for advanced users
I really hope Policare helps parents and caregivers look after their little ones 24/7.
If you’d like, you can simply download it and try it out.
