Price per gallon... EEK!

Great image ;) Home tanks, like propane tanks? LOL

thanks! had fun putting it together but that much more enjoyable hearing someone else laugh too.

gracias jrtpup. having a home tank would be a tad expensive and take up a good deal of space in the refrigerator, but what peace of mind to know there's an extra reserve after the next natural disaster.. <3

>I think supply and demand may come into play

For certain Capin. Thanks for the link.

Nice to see Lilly add production capacity to the plant in Indianapolis rather than follow the pack and sell it to someone else regardless of the long-term cost to the community.

No way to predict the future but what do you think... Will it bring down consumer prices?

Gotta love Lilly's expression of commitment to increasing the access of medicines (just discovered it) and that they're taking steps to see that happen, but it's hard to envision the price of insulin or other diabetes related products coming down after absorbing the increasingly prohibitive costs these past few decades.

Chemstrips were one of the first and closest thing diabetics ever used for a cheap CGM. :laughing:

As to supply and demand and greed of drug companies are to blame for high costs. To get a better comparison you’d have to look at car use vs Insulin use per year and come up with an equivalent gallon. I mean 1 gallon of insulin would be more than any Diabetic would use in their current lifetime and may only be an issue if reincarnation were part of the equation. :stuck_out_tongue:

by my math
100 / 40 = 2.5 or 250% $10 Ā» $25
60u = 1.5*40u or 150% increase 100%+150%

How much is nitrous by the gallon?
I’m not even going to consider today’s cheaper gas prices…

Openly weeping…
