Does anyone know where I can purchase a reusable insulin pen. I purchase my Humalog in 3ml cartridges that fit into a pen. I do not want to spend the money buying prefilled pens when I have over 60 Humalog cartridges. I purchase my Humalog this way in order for my insurance to pay for it.

You need a script to get the actual reusable pen… If your insurance will not pay for the pen, you can get a free one off Humalogs website (coupon with prescription)…They prefer to have your endo get you one from their sales reps but this works as well (Thats how i got my Humalog Memoir… which I highly recommend…

I bought a brand new Novopen 4 which is not sold in this country from a girl in UK for $27 including shipping. I would not of bought it except it was brand new.
Usually anything thats even a bit iffy on Ebay comes sealed, or with the factory tab sealed… Most insulin pens come in a sealed box, similar to how they put the sticker tabs on the cartridge/disposable pen boxes…
I just went to shoppers drug mart and they gave me the humalog reusable pen casing to go with the humalog insulin cartage’s … no script was needed to get it what so ever.
I have the Novopen Junior.. Its actually really good because it like a regular needle but in .5 units increments... And is refillable with cartridges but im not sure about humalog but i'd say if there the same vials i can't see why it wouldn't.. Check it out Novopen Junior
I know this is an old thread but I still have to add: I called the company that makes the pens and they shipped me 2 pens to my pharmacy. For no charge to me. Only took a couple of days, too. :D
