I am interested to know if anyone has actually succeeded with having a raw diet and maintaining their Diabetes.
I watched a trailer for a project in which six Diabetics who were fast food junkies (under doctor’s care) stopped taking their insulin and only consumed raw foods.
The outcome of course was happily ever after and they were all off of insulin by the end of the documentary.
I’m curious if this actually works…
I don’t know how much it works. But I can tell you there is a group here (search for “raw” under Groups) that was formed with a raw diet as the theme.
For a type 1 not honeymooning, it sure wouldn’t work. I’m a vegan but not a raw foodie.
