Relocating to Washington DC need endocrinologist

Hi to All! I will be living near Tysons Corner in Northern VA and working near White House in DC. I am looking for an endocrinologist that is also familiar with my Omnipod pump system. Any suggestions. Thank you.

the endocrine society website has a “find an endo”

as does the AACE
https://www.aace.com/resources/find-an-endocrinologist1

I know our lead admin @Brian_BSC is involved w a diabetes support group out there in Fairfax county & he could probably let you know about some endos.

btw I’m from the Northern VA area, but it’s been so long, I suspect my endo there is in his 80s.

I do live in Northern VA. I don’t use a pump so I don’t know how familiar my endo is with the Omnipod. I do know a number of endos in the area, I just don’t have specific information on the Omnipod. I do run a support group and if you send me a private message I would be happy to send out an inquiry to see if any of our members have information. TCOYD is also in DC on May 21, you would probably have lots of people there to ask. You could also call the diabetes centers at Inova Diabetes Center in Fairfax and ask the staff for recommendations.

Omnipod has a “Find a Doctor” page that may be of use.

My endo is on the list!

Teamwork!

mine is not! but he is in the @AACE

Name? thanks!

click on Brian’s face avatar & you’ll see his user card and large blue button that says “message” - then you can ask him privately. I know he thinks very highly of his endo!

I like mine also. Not in DC but minutes from Tyson’s. Message me if you want the name.

Jim Ramey, MD and Ace Lipson, MD - both top endos in the area within walking distance of the WH (19th between L&M). Different practices, but they share office space. Ramey (202) 296-0670. Lipson - (202) 296-3443.

I’m in the same boat! I just accepted a job in Arlington and I’ll be relocating the whole family there from Michigan! Congratulations on the new job!
