Self-monitoring study for people with type 2 diabetes

Researchers from Columbia University are looking for individuals with type 2 diabetes to participate in a self-monitoring study. The purpose of the study is to collect a set of data to develop and test a predictive mathematical model of blood glucose fluctuations for individuals with type 2 diabetes. The participants will be asked to keep a detailed and accurate record of their daily meals, medication (particularly insulin, time and doze), and blood glucose readings before and after meals for the period of 4 weeks.

Participants will be provided with a web-based tool for keeping their records, and reimbursed $50 for their participation.
