Just started on the Minimed 530, and the Sure-T. Seem to be getting a lot of highs and lag time. Anyone else experience this?
I was using the Silhouette, but I started getting a lot of pain.
I have been on the sure T for over 8 years, never had a problem so far. are you sure the high readings are coming from the new set you are using? so many factors influence our BG, sometimes its difficult to find out what the reason for that high BG is…
i personally love the sure T, no thing that shoots in the cannula and also, no kinked cannulas. thats what i absolutely love. i've never had high readings because of a kinked site. thats absolutely great.
i hope you can find a solution for that problem, is the length of the cannula the same?

I never really had a problem with kinked cannulas, but the rocket needle was starting to get bad.
I am guessing user error, because it is the only thing different in my routine. I used to wear the Silhouette on my back. May not be a good spot for the T. Where do put yours? I had to put the Sil on my back because I am pretty lean.
I only use my belly, thats pretty much the only place where i have enough fat to put it in. sometimes i use my upper thighs, but only if i dont wear too tight jeans.

Well…I am guessing now that I am doing something wrong. I changed the set to my stomach, and my sugars have been in the 300-450 range. Very random for someone with an A1c in the low 6 range.
Calling the doc tomorrow, because I really want to use the Sure-T.
