I am loving it! This is so much fun. Yes I realise that I am a total geek about having an insulin pump, but I am happy! Just wanted to share I am a happy pumper.
I felt the same way!! I swear at it all the time but it’s a fantastic gizmo!!
that’s great Stardust! I know my first days I was checking my pump all the time, the settings, making sure the basals were correct, looking at when I did my last bolus, etc. How was your first night with it?
Congratulations, Stardust! Yes, I love my Ping as well. The only time I’ve been frustrated enough to curse at it is when the numbers race past, then race back down to zero. Now infustion sets - those do drive me crazy, but a lot less now than in my first month or two. I admit to wearing my pump out where people can see but then I worry they will think of it as a cell phone, a techno device I am proud NOT to own! (Because I think they’re a scourge to civilization!)
My pump trainer wanted me to check my bgs at 12am and 3am…kinda tired today. It went well though I went low three times, so we changed my sensitivity…then after we get more data we will see if my basil and bolus need to be changed. I am still amazed at all of this. This little machine attached to me keeps me right. I love it. Yes checking all the time!!! My night went well though!
I’m so happy for you Stardust! I love my pump as well. I’ve often said I’d give my life before giving up my pump. There’s no way I want to return to MDIs. Honestly, I’d have to be retrained after all this time. Pumping is definitely my life line.
It’s life-changing, and I love tech stuff anyway LOL. My dexcom is yummy icing on the cake 
Hi Stardust! A huge congratulations to you for starting pumping. Awesome. My insulin requirements went down about 25% when I started pumping, and I had some difficulty with lows initially as a result. Something to watch out for. Keep us posted on your progress.
Glad to hear it is going well. I have my pump training next week for the medtronic minimed revel. Which pump did you choose? Hope things continue to go smoothly and my experience is as good!
I have the same pump! The revel is great and very user friendly. I love having my meter talk to my pump so I don’t have to enter glucose. I also love the carelink usb. The whole system is really amazing. Thank you all for the wonderful feedback. I don’t want to go back to MDI at all. I am just so thankful to be able to have a pump!

Congrats! I started almost a month ago, and it is such a relief not to have to inject 8-12 times per day!!!

I’m color blind (born without the receptors) - so I chose the CLEAR pump 
And besides - I’m a techie, so it is a little more impressive ! lol
