Survey on Glucose Detecting Dogs

Researchers want to learn about dogs that help people with diabetes. The purpose of this study is to see how well dogs can warn people when their sugar levels are too low or too high. You are invited to take part in this study if you have diabetes and have had a dog that can detect sugar levels. If you have a child with diabetes who has such a dog, you are also asked to take part in this study. You may have purchased a trained dog. You may have trained a dog yourself. Your dog may have learned to respond to sugar levels on its own. In all these cases, we are interested in your responses.

You may not think your dog was good at detecting sugar levels. We are still interested in your experiences. You may not have a dog now. If you had a dog in the past, we are interested in your responses.Your responses may help others with diabetes. We hope that 200 people will complete the survey. If you know someone else who has a dog that can detect sugar levels, please send the survey link to them. However, only people with diabetes (or their parents) should complete this survey. This survey will take about 25 minutes. The survey asks questions about you, your diabetes and how you manage your diabetes. It also asks about how well your dog detects sugar levels.

If you or someone you know has such a dog, please complete our survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3WKM5D3.
