Tandem Source

I got a message the T:connect is going dead at the end of this month and that Tandem Source is where one should go now.
But they say the data will be kept on the web.

Do you trust that the data will be safe from individuals or groups that you do not want to see your personal diabetes data?

I used to worry about that, but hey, how will someone knowing my sugar went up after eating too much one day last year.

I mean insurance companies already get the data and I really don’t see the harm if it got hacked.

I don’t like the idea of it but as far as risk goes, I don’t worry too much.

Tandem Source is a new front end to access the same data T:connect was showing you. It doesn’t change your risk.

Thanks. It still bothers me that my BG 24/7 data is out there
on the web, available to hackers and even for Tandem to keep my personal health data. But I hear you. We are kinda stuck with it. If we use it.
