Hello, my name is Sarah, and I am a T1 diabetic. I am currently a senior Sociology major at Washington College in Maryland. For my senior thesis, I am writing a report on adults living with T1 diabetes. If you are 18 or older, please participate in a short online survey. It will greatly help in my research and will be very much appreciated!

The final day to take this survey is Tuesday, February 23rd, by 4:00pm. If you are interested in participating, please do so by then.

I filled it out. Just my opinion, but I found it pretty superficial.

Thanks for taking it! Yes, you are correct; the survey does not even begin to touch the depth and intricacies of life with diabetes. However, it was not without its reasons. I would have greatly preferred to do a more in-depth look at life with diabetes, but was unable to do so because of confidentiality reasons, getting approved by my school’s Institutional Review Board, and time constraints.

I hope that the superficiality of the survey did not make you doubt the sincerity of my study. I can tell you that every response is a valuable piece of information and will greatly contribute to my thesis. Thanks again.
