type2 insulin resistance.due to low brith weight. also have learned of hyperventilation and ischemic from heart test. maybe early years of hosital stay down the road.check out qiqong!

I was a heavy baby - 12 pounds, 6 ounces/24 inches, and hypoglycemic growing up. (Mom was never tested for gestational D, bro was over 10 pounds/21 inches.) I used to cry a lot when little, weak and hungry/hypo. Got dx with T1 at 23. Go figure! Mom was dx’d with T2 right after I went into the hospital from DKA at dx. I definitely have signs of insulin resistance. (Saw this posting on homepage, I am not T2.)
