For those using an Animas Vibe pump with the Dexcom CGMS what is the average battery life you are getting. I have the Vibe alone and getting roughly 6-7 weeks from each battery but I was wondering what difference having the CGMS makes to battery life.
The Vibe isn't available yet in the US, but I do get more Ping battery life if I use the Energizer Ultimate. I guess you are outside the US, so I don't know if the Energizer Ultimate is available where you are, but I do get a much longer use from those batteries.
I´m getting mine tomorrow with the CGMS and have been told it´s three weeks. This shall also be the only pump who can use used batteries if there´s an emergency. You can take used bateries from a remote control or whatever and just put them in the pump and it will work fine. Other pumps refuse to run on "bad fuel" like this. I´ve been told.
