Wayback machine

Does someone want to start a thread about how to use the Wayback machine to access old Tu posts when they go down?

I think that might help reassure people.

Might need to do it somewhere it wont get deleted.

tudiabetes and EsTuDiabetes have a link here:

Es tu does not have a forum (so far as I could see), BTW here’s the name explanation, such as it is:

That aside, the wikipedia page does not have a link for either site however, if you look to the references, you will see that wikipedia does archive links (via the wayback machine).

There’s some action required; look at reference [20] in this link on wikipedia:

That page is a typical wikipedia page for an individual who may be controversial; looks like a slugfest to me (having participated in one once). Nevertheless the ref is not archived. The DHF page shows that the wikipedia bot “rescues” pages that disappear, but I guess they have to be in archive.org first!

I added an explicit link to forum.tudiabetes.org as a citation for the reference. I couldn’t find a forum on estudiabetes.org; anyone know where it is? @askmanny?

EsTuDiabetes used to exist under the auspices of Beyond Type 1, much like TuDiabetes has done until it gets decommissioned soon.

Took me longer than I want to admit to realize the domain would be in Spanish. foro.estudiabetes.org

Here’s the announcement about estudiabetes.org being shut down from November 2020:
Una nueva etapa se acerca! EsTuDiabetes cierra sus puertas - General - EsTuDiabetes

Thanks, I updated the DHF wikipedia page to use the link to the “shutdown” topic and put a permanent watch on the DHF page so I get notified of changes. I’ve forced a save of forum.tudiabetes.org, it’s here:
