Today I managed to get my pump very wet..the reservoir compartment stayed dry as did the battery compartment, but I am getting a button error message that I cant clear...Does anyone have any suggestions before I call Medtronic?
Rice to absorb moisture if that doesn’t work after 24 hours I’d call Medtronic.
I heard you can freeze the pump to dry it out
I would call Medtronic before doing anything else.
Do not attempt to freeze the pump lol there are temperature restrictions on pumps its in your user manual! haha bad idea :P
I had this happen. If you are still under warranty, call Medtronic. They will send a new one. The button error will cause problems injecting insulin-bolus-and should not be used. They will ship it overnight (but the 4th will slow you down a bit.)
