Got a salsa mukluk about a year ago.
No snow here but works great in the dry river beds.
Planning on putting a Lefty on the front.
Pictures soon.
I am a new member. I ride a BMC SL02 Road Racer that I have had for a couple years now. I have a Rocky Mountain Altitude full suspension mountain bike that I have had a couple of years also.
Profile picture of me on my 36 inch wheel Coker unicycle. Just got this one last month. Having a blast on it.
My two steeds.
First off is BM, who's starting to show her age a bit, but is a Trek Liquid 30, but fully kitted out in Hope gear.
And for more general everyday riding, sportives, and touring I have LM, who is a lovely Reynolds 725 steel framed Genesis Croix de Fer, which is a 2010 frame, but has had the brakes upgraded to BB7's and the seat replaced with a very comfy Brooks now for my touring on. Most of the time wearing front and rear rack mounts unless lightened up for sportive duty.
I am going to purchase a Raleigh Venture 3.0 next month.
Does anyone use a Dexcom G4 when they ride? I am looking for a way to attach my G4 receiver to the handle bars.
2013 Kona Dew For commuting
2013 Kona Lana'i (still new loving it)
I'm interesting in attaching my G4 to my bars too, let me know if you find anything. Having trouble reading it in bright sunlight too, haven't found anyway to change the brightness settings...
2013 specialized FSR EVO 29 Carbon expert
2011 specialized roubaix s works carbon
also in the stable- Fisher ferrous 29, intense 5.5, Burley Paso Doble Tandem, Klein attitude hardtail (pre-trek)
My steel horse is a Specialized Ruby Sport which I got last month. I fashioned a Dexcom G4 receiver mount between the handlebars using a Shapeways brixometer case with a few zip ties. I can't read it in bright sunlight and there is no way to adjust the brightness, but it does stay secure.
Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted here. Sorry for the delay! The bike I ended up with back in 2008 was actually a Trek Fuel EX 8. Here's a pic:
A few years ago I upgraded the 1997 Trek 5000 to a Scott TCR Team, here's a pic of it in action on a cold Ohio race day:
The most recent addition was a Fuji Altimira CX 1.3, love it! All carbon SRAM Force 11sp CX racing bike!
In action:
Just got off my Giant Cypress comfort bike after picking up my daughter. Too much traffic for her to ride alone right now. That is my “about town” bike. My rode bike is an old and faithful Litespeed. I usually ride with my girlfriend going 30 to 50 miles. Longer if training for El Tour de Tucson. Newly diagnosed as a prediabetic. Could be either since I already have Celiac Disease and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. Trying to figure out what to now eat on my rides. Short rides are easy, but have yet to tackle longer rides since my dx.
1998 Trek 2120. Just started riding!!! Got a good deal on it used. I've only done about 40 miles so far. Bought some clipless shoes the other day and getting use to that(bike came with nice clipless pedals).
Congrats! I fell down at a traffic light within a large group of cyclists when I was still learning to use clips. I was so embarrassed! I could not ride without them now!
