What's your go-to item for raising blood sugar fast?

Even though I train with my Dexcom, I still experience a blood sugar "crash" every now and then and I'm looking for some new ideas for things to try to raise it quickly. I carry glucose tablets with me at all times, but have found that it takes a good half hour for their "fast acting" sugar to kick in for me. That's not quite quick enough for me some times. I also use regular Pepsi (which seems to work faster for me), but would like to avoid adding extra calories if I can. Any suggestions for other things I can try that will work fast (at least faster than the glucose tablets) and might not carry the calorie punch that Pepsi (or other regular soda) does?

I use little baggies of a mix of Smarties and Starburst Jelly beans for "emergencies" when running but now pretty much all the time. The chore of mixing them up disinclines me to eat them because they are tasty but they are tasty enough that I don't mind tossing them down the hatch. For races and other special occasions, I take the green ones out. I use Gatorade for fuel, about the same result. I like to have the small increments w/ the bean/ Smartie mix so I can sort of nudge my BG up without getting carried away.

Hi, I found if I keep running my blood sugar will not rise. I have to eat and sit and wait five minutes. It seems wise to me to cary glucagon shots. You can pre mix the powder and liquid. It’ll remain viable the whole day.

Cliff shot blocks + sports drink works for me, but I’m a newbie to being a type 2 diabetic.

Power Gel. I use vanilla because it has no caffeine. One full pack is 30 grams of carbs
and stops my dropping bg level in 10-15 minutes and begins raising it soon after. Biggest drawback is that I will go high post-run if I don't test frequently and correct. Annoying drawback: it is very sticky and will give incorrect BG test if it gets on my finger, and I don't clean it sufficiently before testing.
