Where do you store your Diabetes supplies?

Hello,

I just started pumping this week and I am use to storing my Diabetes supplies in the kitchen, in the bathroom or where it has been for the past 10 years...in a 3 drawer Rubbermaid container however, now that I have a lot more supplies I was wondering where everyone that has an insulin pump where do you store your supplies?? I am tired of having everything in different places in the house and I want everything in one spot or in something that I can go to and get what I need. Any suggestions would be great, pictures, anything. Thank-you in advance.

I took over an old-fashioned cabinet in the laundry room (old enameled kind) that is now overstuffed and I need more space. I can't get my dex supplies in with all the 3 month supplies of strips and pump supplies. I think I will cull out a shelf in my boxed food cabinet in the same area (rice, etc). It is nice to have the supplies at least all in one room. If you can obtain a somewhat narrow cabinet with lots of shelves from Lowes or Home Depot (or if you have money (!) then a more elegant cabinet) and put it in a room with a corner or wall space to spare, then you should be OK. I need that much space because I do mail order and get 90 days of supplies.

I designated a bedroom drawer to my supplies. I always change my site and fill my pump in the bedroom so it works out. I have dividers in the drawers for the different supplies. I keep unused insulin in the fridge. I like having it all in on place. Anything to help make it easier. Good luck!

Thank-you for your suggestions! I like having it all in one place it is so much easier and I am the same way Renka I do everything in the bedroom also. I found a storage cabinet that I think I am going to get and put in our bedroom that way everything is right there and if anything happens at least my husband will know where everything is!!

Okay so the cabinet I found has terrible reviews so never mind on that one :frowning: I guess that is how it goes some times…lol I was actually getting ready to leave the house to go and purchase it. We are moving to southeast Texas and we all know that is hurricane territory so I want a cabinet to keep my supplies in but, one that is big enough I can put my supplies in some Rubbermaid containers and if we would EVER have to evacuate I can pop the lids on a go. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions please and thank-you!
