Hey everyone!!!
Wow!! I’ve just realized that I’ve been a diabetic for a whole year now. I still remember the day they diagnosed me with diabetes. To be honest I didn’t know much about it. I started hearing things from other people and what it does to you or how it slowly kills you. I got scared and thought that my life wouldn’t be the same anymore. To my understanding life was over for me.
If it wasnt for the support of my parents and family I would of let myself get sloppy with everything. I started reading about it and what I can do to improve it. Luckily i found this website where is just not me with this illness but thousands of people here that support each other out and live life normal like everyone else.
Therefore I’ve been a type 2 diabetic for one year (5 days ago). I may not be here much but I do read a lot on here and take advantage of the information that is posted here. Remember we aren’t different than anyone else. Look at it this way, we’re special in a way and have a challenge that God put in front of us. So don’t let it bring you down and enjoy life with a challenge that you know you can overcome. Don’t hide it or be embarrassed about it, have confidence and motivation or overcoming it.
Thank you all and god bless.
So when’s your anniversary??
