As I write this, we are about to reach 13,000 members! This is SO amazing! The TuDiabetes family started a little under 3 years ago, in March 2007, and today it spreads across all continents and touches the lives of 13,000 people who’ve registered for the site plus nearly 60,000 more who visit the site on a monthly basis without being members.
It’s mindboggling and a testimony to the spirit that lives on in the posts and contributions each member makes, to the kind of support and environment we strive for every day.

Wow! Recently I was sitting around with a Type 2 friend, Richard and a couple of non-diabetics and the non-diabetics were asking me about diabetes. I heard myself saying things like “Some of us have found…” or “Many of us…” and one woman looked puzzled from me to my Type 2 friend. I realized she was puzzled by who this “many of us” was! I feel like I walk around with a whole community of experience in my head (and heart) which, because it comes from real people on tudiabetes is a lot more meaningful to me than any study!
