I have written a few hymns, and wrote one about our patron saint, Barnabas. It was to be played on St. Barnabas day, which was yesterday, but I had to be at another church. However, in the evening we had a church dinner and meeting, and as it was appropriate to the day, they sang my hymn. It was quite exciting, and a bit weird, to hear it, especially with one of our baritones belting it our behind me, but it was a special moment. Oh, this has nothing to do with diabetes.

But it’s a wonderful, loving story and I am happy to read it. And you know that in one way or another, over the years, there is no aspect of our lives that isn’t impacted by diabetes. Thanks for sharing this…
