Advocate Redi code meter question

Hi all so nice to see you, what a wonderful group of people. But I was wondering, Has anyone else had a problem with the advocate Redi code meter, it's that free talking one they advertise, I'm glad I still had my old meter, because I am getting high readings all the time from that one. I wanted to give it a try or have another one to take with me when I go places so I don't have to worry about leaving it there and not having one. But anyway, I just wanted to hear your experiences..

Im not a big fan of the Advocate… Iv had to recommend it to people… but it seems to be off moreso than other meters…

I have gotten a Solo V2 from http://solometers.com/ to try out recently and have been suitably impressed with the voice, the display size and how accurate the strips seem to be in relation to my other meters… This is my new talking meter to recommend to people…Plus it uses a standard mini-USB cable and you can download reports like the mainstreem meters (software is on their website)… No propritary cable!..My only slight complaint is even though it has a HUGE display, I wish it had a backlight…This strips are similar to the advocate in that you have to get them through a DME/Mail order… but I think they really outdid themselves with this device.

Mendosa has a review, he pretty much has the same opinion as I do on it…
