It would be nice to visit the artistic side…
philosophical side…
??
Maybe I’ll start:
Everyday, in every way…
(or not !).
www.FightingTheUnseen.com is my site. I’m an author and a poet. I have a poetry collection called These Brief Moments which is available on Amazon for $6.99. Here is one that is included in that book:
Between Lo and Hi
I’m sweating and I’m cold
shaking but not frozen
I can’t control my body
I just want to sleep
but fighting to stay awake
I am terrified of what’s happening
Just one more tablet
I hate the taste
I crave the dissolve on my tongue
Feeling a little better
But still continue to shake
I hate my lack of strength
I can feel it start to rise
My heart is panicky
Why am I so angry?
My blood is boiling
My veins constricting
Why does it burn?
I need my needle
I don’t want to dissolve
Why do I have to be dependent?
Feeling a little better
but muscles continue to spasm
I hate that I’m an addict
thanks.
the open letter to my pancreas from ‘six until me’ blog got me going here.

That’s great, Tom!
Made me laugh there Tom (if just for sec).
Well Done !
May brett michaels could do one too.
you remind me of my old professor tom.
when he hit 75 he started cross work puzzles to work his mind (and delay dementia)
