which feature are you most excited about?
I received mine a few weeks ago. To be very honest, I’m not impressed with it. They finally put a color screen on their pump, but I feel it’s too small. The overall design of the pump feels antiquated. While there are some nice features incorporated into the 630g, it’s what is not included that concerns me. The pump does not Bluetooth connectivity which is a shame. The minimed connect does not work with the pump as well. The minimed connect saved my life last month, I don’t want to give that up. I’m going to send the 630g back and continue to use my 530g until something comes along worth upgrading to.

670g is around the corner isnt it? i think u can upgrade , dont know about prices tho
My 530g was out of warranty in July, I can upgrade whenever I want without any cost to me. I have Kaiser Permanente, I’m considering giving Tandem and the Dexcom G5 a try. Seems Tandem and Dexcom have really embraced the new technology as far as apps and software upgrades go with their pumps. Medtronic have been touting their partnership with IBM since 2013 and have nothing to show for it. Sorry high jack your thread with negativity.

Is Tandem speaking with G5 now?
Not yet. The Tandem rep I spoke with said the tslim x2 will be able to communicate with the G5 by early next year.
