Today I received my One Touch Ping in the mail! Unfortunately I have to wait until August 10th to be trained for it, so until then I just have to sit around and look at it. I am getting really excited though, and I can’t wait until I can start it!
I will have to start thinking of a name for my new pink best friend. what have you guys named your pumps? also if anyone has any advice for me before starting on the pump, that would be appreciated too!

Horrah Vered! Great news! Search in the Forum for “name my pump” or something similar and you will find some discussions with pump name ideas, i think!
I’m a pink Pinger as well. You will love it. My advice: Don’t worry if it is a little rough at the start…it is a lot to get used to. Only other advice is in the past when your sugar went high unexpectedly you automatically wondered what YOU had done. “did I not bolus enough, did I eat more of that than I thought, etc” Now when this happens know that it may very well be the pump.
