Casting Call in Los Angeles: People Touched by Diabetes

CASTING CALL: PEOPLE WITH DIABETES in LOS ANGELES

I am posting to you in connection with our program, the Big Blue Test: testing one's blood sugar, getting active for 14-20 minutes, testing again and sharing the experience on www.BigBlueTest.org.

The Diabetes Hands Foundation is up to it again this year, gearing up to bring you the Big Blue Test even bigger than before!

We're in our fourth year of the Big Blue Test, and so far it's helped more than 10,000 people with diabetes realize the importance of physical activity in their diabetes management. Also, over past two years through the Big Blue Test program, the Diabetes Hands Foundation has been able to raise $150,000 in donations, directly benefiting people with diabetes who cannot afford insulin and diabetes supplies in the US and abroad. You can watch two of the videos we've produced:

In preparation, Diabetes Hands Foundation is creating a video to explain and inspire individuals like you to help others while helping yourself! We are looking for volunteers to become members of the cast! We will be filming in Los Angeles the first weekend in October.

If you have type-1 or type-2 diabetes or are family and friends of someone with diabetes, you may be a great asset to the team! We are looking for individuals of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. We are searching for dancers, artists, martial artists, athletes of all kinds! All you need to do is send a little information our way with a photo and we will get back to you right away.
