My daughter is 18 years old and for the past 2 months my daughter’s sugars have been ranging between 200-400. Her eyesight has gradually been getting worse. We were told 2 weeks ago that she has severely large cataracts. She is unable to read with these and unable to drive. They don’t want to do surgery because she is so young to have this problem and they would like to see if getting her sugars under control would shrink the cataracts. Has anyone else had this problem or heard of anyone who has???
