Challenge! Big Blue Test

Gotta say I’m surprised at how many people go UP with exercise! Floors being sanded (it’s loud) and hard-wired smoke alarms being installed today, so won’t do my first BBT till later.

I did it today and sent it out to two email lists I’m on, hopefully some of them will go do it.

Michelle

Now I’m going the other way was 104 when I started went down to 38. Oh well another day in the life huh???

Judith, no, you don’t have to. I just issued the challenge to get more people to participate, more often. Strength, support (and hopefully mild coersion) in numbers!

I played 2 extreme ping pong games and went from 112 to 58

So after dinner i decided to do this. after dinner 138 after 45 minute run 84. 138-84

Took dog for a walk after Eagles’ TD and had to rewind it to see what happened!! 84-56. Oops…

HEY< WE ARE AT 988, c’mon west coasters and east Asia, Australasia, anywhere else I’m sorry to have overlooked!!! 12 more to go!!

Holy BG Batman - woke at 129, now 1/2 hour later up to 148 even with a correction. Not enough coffee in me yet to exercise. I’ll go out and go nuts with the dogs once I’m awake!

Only 6 day left! I had a double-bent canula today (ugh). Played hard with the dogs outside on this gorgeous day and went from 158-157 ;(

So far I've managed 5 entries, for a variety of activities. I'm harassing friends who ride their bikes to and from work (that's 2 tests per day!) and have a friend who teaches high school physical education in Copenhagen getting ready to have her whole class do it! I'm learning that my friends and acquaintances are totally on board, which really warms my heart :)

Hmm, the weather is not looking propitious this evening...:-(

...but I got out at 142 (eeeek!) and was 109 when I finished. Although eerily enough my CGM hit 326 mid-14 minutes and I was like "eeek eeek eeek"

No blue buildings here in DE :(

Emily, I agree! I'm astonished how many people ask why I have blue nails, or what my t-shirt means, and ask for the url for the BBT! This is a great opportunity for education as well as fundraising.

I'll try your TWO BBT's a day Marie when I'm able to. I was going to try jrtpup's idea but I guess this would include both. I did the BBT yesterday once only though.
I was 6.3(113) and after 15 minutes of dance, I was 5.5(99).

Not sure if we are supposed to add every BBT in this discussion also.

Just finished at around 4:00 a.m.

before - 6.7(120.6)
powerball 16 minutes
after - 5.4(97)

Great Cause! :)

You aren't "supposed to" but I'm hoping it will create buzz/ excitement/ advertising!

Okay, thanks AR...Good to know it's not a "have to". I was outside painting and lost track of time. I'm now 4.2, so no exercising at this point.

A challenge to everyone: let's pass 2,000 Big Blue Test entries in the next 2 hours. We're at 1,700 right now (remember, the goal is 8,000 by World Diabetes Day, next Monday).

Let's do it: www.BigBlueTest.org

OK Manny! I'm testing right now and getting out there! I don't know how the weather is where you are, but it's been just lovely here in New Jersey, no excuse not to get out there.
