I am wondering if anyone uses the Dex 4 or some other brand of glucose gel and knows the cheapest place to get them! Any response would be greatly appreciated!

That's great but I'm looking for something I won't over correct with.
I use the tabs and my pharmacy(s) have their own brand which is cheaper (but not much) than the Dex4 name. I have never looked at the gel to see if they have some. I'd carry sugar cubes too but they don't stay cubes in my pockets, they are a cheap solution for sure though.
I use smarties and sweet tarts. I usually get them after valentines day cause they come in little separate packages and they are heavily discounted. Each little tab of smarties is 0.4g, a roll is 6 g. Each little sweet tart is 2g. Both smarties and sweet tarts are 100% glucose, same as the Dex4 tabs.
ps. Table sugar is actually a 50% glucose and 50% fructuse, but it does works and is cheap.
In terms of Gel type stuff you squeeze from tubes? Probably the cheapest is the little colored cake frostings in squeeze tubes in the bakery section of the grocery store.
But gak! Usually I'm not in a mindset to take straight cake frosting without gagging! With a little effort I've done it a couple times though.
