Chicago Area Research Study Type 1 Diabetes

We are looking for volunteers with type 1 diabetes who are between the ages of 18 and 40 years to participate in a research study at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The purpose of this study is to determine how worry or fear of hypoglycemia influences glucose levels in young adults with type 1 diabetes. You may qualify if you have had type 1 diabetes for at least one year and use an insulin pump. Qualified participants will receive financial compensation at the completion of the study visit.

I appreciate the need for research studies in diabetes and I will often participate when eligible. It would be nice if requests like this would reciprocate with a summary and link to the results when published. What do you think?

I am a T1D outside the age range of interest but share the researchers interest in glycemic variability.
