community is something we all long for. To be around people who really understand and “get” it. Everyone desires that. We all desire friendship and family and community and partnership.
Last night I met with my local JDRF Walk 2010 organizing group. I was inspired to meet other PWD’s and families with children with diabetes. I am even going to start going to a support group that I had no idea existed before last night. I am so excited for all the oppourtunities headed my way.
God is doing BIG THINGS in my life. I am looking forward to learning about myself through my community both online and locally.
Fellow D-blogger Jessica Hickok started my local JDRF chapter and is coordinating the walk this year. She is rocking awesome. Even though we’re local and have been tweeting together since the summer, we just met last night!
