Just thought I would share this with he group.
Thanks,
Scott
thanks scott! I'll try this. Even if I were covered for the other tapes, cutting two in half and getting the four in placement is a trick. My vision is not perfect, so this is a great alternative.
Well done! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing~
Thanks, Scott. I also use the same flexifix tape and it’s a pain cutting it to correct size. This is a nice simple solution. I’ll definitely give this a go.

You all welcome. I hope it helps. Someone mentioned they use a hobby scalpel and that would make cutting it easy. The knife I use is razor sharp, trust me… I know.

So excited about trying this new product!
Different concept I’m talking about sticking the tegaderm to the skin and dexcom on top
Don’t you still need something over the Dexcom adhesive bandage?
The theory being that if your skin isn’t oozing oils and sweat into the dexcom adhesive it would last pretty much forever
Just wish those expensive sensors would last “pretty much forever”!
Yeah, this is my problem. I can usually get it to stick forever by using a combination of Skin Tac and Hypafix (weirdly, I find putting Skin Tac on top of the tape and then having a shower really helps it stick!). It’s my sensor that just dies after about 21 days. I’d wear the thing for two months if I could get it to run that long!
You again, lol. Just can’t tell if your sarcastic or not in these posts. Either way is good.
This was originally deleted by the admin because it was spammed out on 10 threads and my videos in YouTube.
Sounds like a new company for over charged material already being used just in fancy shapes, I guess.
Well I took a dexcom break, coiling afford the sensors co-pay. But I ordered the G4 with Share and should get it this weekend. Good thing I still have plenty of this tape left.
My record was 20 days, but I wasn’t pushing it past 15 when I did have the sensors.
Skintac is great, I find the 4oz bottle lasts for ever and is way cheaper then the individual pads.
My bottle is almost three years old, still works. Just shake it up before you use it.
And I still have about 2/3 of the bottle left even using it with every infusion over the years.
