My G4 transmitter finally died. I was about to order a new one and then NOPE! Indefinite back order. I called another provider, and they said the backorder was with Dexcom themselves.
I know they have the G5 out, but what the heck? I don’t want to pay all of that money for a new one when my G4 is perfectly fine (sans transmitter).
What to do? See if I can buy one from anyone else?
So sorry to hear you are having such a hard time getting your replacement. I got my transmitter last month. I got a notice that something was out of warranty, so I check my account on line and sure enough my transmitter was due for replacement. So I just ordered online through my account and got it later that week. I do all my orders and changes online. I don’t think I’ve had to call since I first got the system and then when I got my replacements when they were due. But I would sure be on he phone finding out what was going on. Just can’t be without such an important of your treatment plan. Keep fighting the fight!
