I'm confused, what is the $2 - to my understanding their is no cost for 24/7 online support here at TuD. I'm not in any way discouraging contributing to DHF which is great, just wondering what this means.

One Today is a fundraising app on Android from Google. The premise is how much good can $1 do.
While access to the online communities is free, it does cost something to keep them up and running. So we took a look at the bare bones operational costs for TuDiabetes & EsTuDiabetes and came up with the statistic that $2 = 1 person with 24/7 access to peer support online. That's what it takes to "keep the lights on," so to speak.
Thanks for the explanation, Corinna; that was confusing to me but now I understand. I'm also pleasantly surprised to hear our total membership. You said 50,000 total membership - we're at 29,000 so does that mean EsTuDiabetes has over 20,000? I had no idea!
