Jane K. Dickinson, RN, PhD, CDE, who has been living with type 1 diabetes since 1975 and providing diabetes education since 1995, has been perplexed about the words used in diabetes care for over 20 years. Back in March, Jane conducted a focus group here on TuDiabetes, and many of you participated. You may recall that the next step is to take a look at Jane’s summary of focus group data and let her know if it makes sense to you. Jane’s summary is now posted on her website, and she needs those who participated in the focus group to read through it and send thoughts/feedback to Jane at janekdickinson@gmail.com. Please include your TuDiabetes username so she can make sure you were a participant who consented to the study. Jane will present findings from all four of her focus groups in a live interview here on TuDiabetes on November 24th, so be sure to join us then!
