Does anyone know a country where Dexcom offers a Share-enabled G4 receiver that works in mmols (or a model number)? I’m trying to find one, so that I can connect it to my Apple Watch.
Incidentally, while Dexcom made news with the fact that the G5 is Apple Watch compatible, that’s only for mg/dL devices, so not the option for me. Also I was on the G5, but went back to the G4 because it’s connection wasn’t nearly as reliable. And I know that Android offers another means of connecting to a watch, but I’m too deep into the Apple ecosystem to go that route.
I’d also be interested in a mmol/L G4 receiver. As far as I know, they don’t exist (at least the G4 Share was never released here in Canada). I like my G4 receiver, but it would be nice to be able to share results with my iPhone.
In Canada, the Dexcom G5 app was just updated to include Apple Watch support a week or two ago. So maybe it’s an update that will be coming to your country soon.
