Finally getting the hang of it

I think… and I don’t want to jinx it but… I think we’ve finally gotten Eric’s pump settings where they ought to be. I’ve had several nights of consistent, steady in-range BGs, no morning lows, no afternoon highs. Damned if he didn’t up and catch a virus just as soon as I started to see real stability - he’s got a double ear infection and a respiratory virus called RSV, and it is making his sugars a little high but not out of range. But still, I’m hoping that once he recovers, we’re going to see some steadiness to his levels. It’s been a long time coming!

Nice, isn’t it? Erin may have a consistent increased basal need when he has growth spurts, so eventually you may be able to program a separate basal for that.

Hoorah  Hope that he feels better soon. He’s such a trouper!

Hope that this can allow you a little stability too!

I’d love, love, LOVE to go one whole week without sleepus interruptus, if you know what I mean.

I can imagine  Hope that you can get that some day. You are a superhero, even if you don’t always feel like you have the energy to be one!
