I signed up with Abbot ages ago to be notified when the freestyle Navigator was available in the UK, and I got an email a couple of days ago telling me that it is. It’s significantly cheaper than the only other system available here (Medtronic), and I’m seriously considering buying one. I’ve emailed my endocrinologist today, so I’ll see what her opinion is, but I was wondering about a few things before I take the plunge.
Just to check, you can restart the sensors, can’t you? I’m sure I read that you can somewhere.
How long have people managed to get out of a sensor?
Anyone in the UK had any experience with Abbot’s customer service / support?
I’ll keep you posted on how everything goes.
