The House published a report today. This is also a big deal. Lots of movement.

This is important for me to read. I will devote the needed time to get through it. I’ve watched the PBMs evolve over the years as they have gained power and dominance at the expense of patients. Glad that government seems to be taking appropriate interest. I hope PBMs will be sufficiently contained.

I paid over $3k this week for a 90-day supply of pancreatic enzymes as an “insured” patient. I have an enzyme pancreatic insufficiency or EPI diagnosis.

It’s a lot, Terry. But you do need to take a look because you all did a bunch of work on this forum to explain to me, and others, what a PBM was. We have been running with that and these reports are the result of your digital patient advocacy. This has been a gigantic battle lasting, as you know, for a decade. It’s not over yet, but ten years ago people said it wasn’t possible to do this. You did it. That’s a big deal.

I listened to all three hearings in the house during dental appointments and driving back and forth to Duluth. The second one was interesting. I haven’t had a chance to read the reports yet. I hope to do that this week.
