Has anyone in here gotten pregnant while having diabetes? how was it?
I’ve read that its really important to have your blood sugar stable for the first month because that’s when the baby’s organs are forming… So I am a bit nervous about the whole thing. I mean the first month you don’t even know if you are pregnant…

Being that I have never been preggo, I can not answer this discussion question, however I am here for moral support if that counts.
Well I had my 2 girls at 7 1/2 months and my oldest had her 2 girls at 9 months. My girls I was told were big for 7 1/2 months and I can attest to my daughter’s girls they were both big the 1st weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and her 2nd weighted 9 pounds 4 ounces. The Dr told her it was the best idea to have her diabetes under control for 6 months before she got pg but what can I say accidents happen! So now I’m the mother of 2 and the grandma of 2 too! All 4 girls!!!
