Don’t forget any extra hard-to-get supplies you don’t usually need, but might - like extra adhesive tape, skin tac, iv preps, etc. I always forget iv preps and then have to try to explain that to pharmacists who look at me like I have no idea what I am talking about.
A way to keep your insulin cool like a Frio or a reusable ice pack or a little cooler could be a good idea. Just so you don’t expose it to extreme heat or sun.
Twice the infusion sets and cartridges you could foresee using - never know how waterlogged your tape is going to get.
And good health items that aren’t insulin-related like a hat, sunglasses, clean socks, or waterproof sunscreen.
Dont get the Swine Flu!!!
Frio wallet is a great! You won’t need ice & it’s lightweight.
Extra meter battery. Mine go dead at the worst times. I take two meters when I travel.
