"It can be challenging for a child with diabetes to go to school in a place where other kids don’t quite understand what having diabetes means and the fact that children with diabetes are like them, except for a pancreas that doesn’t work the way it should.
This title can be a great help for parents of kids with type 1 diabetes to explain the children around them what diabetes is like and what insulin, insulin pumps and testing imply, so that diabetic kids can feel better understood in school and other social environments."
