I think Insulet wants a call from you directly (independent from any orders placed w/ a distributor) to approve the order before shipping. This changed recently in my order placing procedure. We aren’t 100% sure why this step was inserted, but don’t let it catch you off guard because your supplies might not ship w/o a direct call to Insulet.
I’m seeing a very high incidence of pump failures lately (almost 50%), so maybe something is going on over there.
