Hello

I am new to tudiabetes.org, but nor new to diabetes. I was diagnosed in 1992 at the age of 15 with type 1 diabetes. At first I did not take this disease serious being so young I though I would live for ever. But now since I turned 33 I have had complications and recently lost a toe due to infection and a break. Have lost sight on my left eye and have real bad neuropathy. But enough of that now I take better care of myself and check my bloodsugar constantly. I also have become more involved in educating people about diabetes and helping raise funds to find a cure. Follow my personal blog here and see pictures if my foot with the missing toe.
