My 10 year old eats 70 - 100 per day, typically in the 80s range, and never goes above 40 at her most carb heavy meal (lunch) and is at 10 or fewer for breakfast. (Like you, she raises a lo in the a.m.) She sticks to carb-free snacks, which I really recommend. If you snack on carbs a couple of times a day and give insulin each time, your BG levels are always going to be slightly elevated, which is not good.
Anywhere between 90-120 a day but I am a T2.
