One of my faves, though she counts calories, not carbs, is hungrygirl.com. She swaps out the high caloric, high fat and substitutes low fat low caloric. Caught two of her shows on cooking channel. She had Pizza chicken (using flat chicken cutlet as a base, loaded with pizza sauce, musrooms, onions and peppers, one small slice of shredded mozzerala, very few carbs). Crunchy Kale chips, butternut squash french fries (baked); low cal pita with dip. Not all of her substitutes are healthy, but a lot are and you can pick up some good ideas, particularly for children and teens with D who are on a moderate carb, not very low carb diet.
