I found this video does a good job of explaining the metabolic details of staying hydrated. I learned some things I didn’t know before.
I understand YMMV, but have a difficulty relating to this interesting lesson without some range of BG delta between proper hydration and being under hydrated. I always hear about the importance of hydration and that hydration affects BG but can anyone offer a range?
Interesting talk, thanks for posting.
I wasn’t well-hydrated yesterday morning (deviated from my normal routine!) and got a lot of wonky CGM readings. My fingersticks ran from a high of 144 (post-breakfast spike) to the 90s but my CGM had lots of data drop-outs and random dips into the 70s. Once I drank more water, my CGM readings were normal and corresponded to fingersticks.
