Hey everyone! I'm new to this site, and I got on here because I recently have found myself without insurance coverage thanks to the lowlife scumbag I was engaged to. After we broke up, I immediately applied for Medicaid, but was denied because I'm not disabled. I am confused, because I thought Medicaid was for people with low income (which I also have, thanks to said scumbag). Does anyone have any advice for how to proceed now that I have been denied for that? I am currently unemployed and have been looking for a job for 3 months. Thanks!
I don't live in the US....but I think you should appeal, as a person with an invisible disability. Get back up from your doctor and the ADA.
