IDing as a diabetic

Well, I wanted to have at least 2 categories type 1 and 2, but it seems that is not possible. I just received a new watch band for my Apple Watch from Holly Smith through Etsy. She does these customized for the buyer. I wanted to have the med alert symbol on both straps with the one facing me just above the holes.

I have a Road ID stainless steel that slides close to the watch on that side. The other side I wanted my name, Type 2 Diabetic on pump and the Road ID number for my medical information.

Holly came through with flying colors, and it did not take long.

I was thinking about posting this, and the following thread encouraged me.

I’ve had T1DM for almost my entire adult life. I don’t hide my sensor or my pump. I never tried to hide when checking my blood sugar or injecting insulin. I don’t make it a secret, but I think it’s far from the most important thing about my existence. It does not define me. And I try not to let it limit me! I’m thinking about how I’ll introduce the fact of having diabetes in my motorcycle blog (or if I even will feel it necessary to do so).
